The Drumzzone, home of notbongos.com in Endicott NY, is a professional quality drum and percussion store and a cozy place to explore and learn African drumming in groups or individual lessons. We also repair and rehead djembes and duns in our workshop. In our Drummerz closet you will find a variety of funky clothing, t-shirts and sweatshirts with our original drum designs. Our shop is filled with djembes, duns, bougarabous, drum related items that include books, cds, drum straps, bags and stands, jewelry, mudcloth, pottery, shea, frame drums, riqs, doumbeks, balafons, and many unique hand percussion instruments.
Other services we offer are performances, lessons, train the trainer courses, corporate stress management team building workshops, drum circles for events and parties, beginner djembe/dun classes through our local community college, and a variety of unique workshops like The DrumZZone Drum~Around. We also teach experiential classes on the health benefits of drumming, a class designed for couples, and women only courses. Our Drumzzone Djammin Community Drum Circle meets 2x a month in our large workshop area. Some of the places we visit on a regular basis include psychiatric centers, schools, nursing homes and senior centers. Our goal is to share the joy of drumming with as many people as we can and make it accessible and fun!
